Optional outfits, building packs and helpers: what each does, its limits, and how family purchase controls work.

Your gator can explore, earn outfits and build a home without buying extras. The shop offers more ways to dress that gator, decorate a town or handle everyday jobs. Here is what each purchase adds, so your family can decide whether it fits your way of playing.

How purchases work

Open the character menu's SKINS page, then STORE. Purchases go through Steam's item store. Steam shows the current price in your own currency before you pay. If buying is unavailable, you can keep playing with the free and earned choices.

  • Each listed item is a one-time purchase kept on your account. There is no bought currency, random reward box or subscription here.
  • Purchases start off. A grown-up enables them with the parent PIN. Every purchase asks for the PIN again.
  • On a child's profile, the shop also stays hidden until a grown-up shows it. See Family safety features.
  • Read the item's description and the delivery consent before confirming. The checkout shows the seller and leaves a receipt. REFUNDS AND HELP opens Steam Support.
  • Paid unlocks cannot be traded, gifted to another player or exchanged for orange coins. Orange coins come from play.

Looks: appearance only

Every paid look changes Tatazo's outfit and colours. It adds no damage, health, skills or better drops. Wearing a class-themed outfit does not choose that class for you. See Picking your class for the Class Shrine.

The Skins gallery shows the existing pictures under Optional paid looks. All these outfits use the same purchase steps and family controls above.

Building packs: decoration only

These packs unlock decor for your own town. They add no fighting strength or survival protection. Every player has a free starter set. World towns can show these buildings whether or not you own a pack.

PurchaseWhat it unlocks
Light Building packHomes, gardens, fences, farm details and market pieces
Explorer packCamps, lookouts, boats, piers, bridges, wagons and workshops
Adventure packLandmarks such as a lighthouse, windmill, water mill, town hall, museum, stages and entrances
Complete City bundleAll the separate packs, plus realm-styled pieces and the full realm colour choice

Owning all the separate packs unlocks the same collection as Complete City. Check what you already own before choosing a bundle. These are paid decor unlocks, not rewards earned in play. Owned decor works in Survival too. See Decor and building packs and Building your town.

Vault Key

The Vault Key opens your existing Home Vault from afar. It does not build a vault or increase its space. It cannot open during a fight, and the paid key never works in Survival worlds.

You can earn the same remote access without paying: craft and use the Vault Whistle. A Survival host may allow that whistle, but this does not enable the paid key. Follow Storage: satchel, chests, the locker and the vault to build your vault first.

Travelling Pedlar

The Travelling Pedlar calls Pemberton and his donkey Parsnip to you. Their shop uses town-shop prices and daily limits. It saves a journey; it gives no discount or extra shop budget. Other nearby players can trade too.

He cannot come during a fight, near a boss, inside a town or in Survival. He needs dry, open ground. Walking to a town shop gives you the free alternative. Read The Travelling Pedlar for the call controls and waiting times.

Raccoon Helper

The Raccoon Helper follows you with a separate bag of 50 slots. You move items between bags yourself. It can also break down marked items, sell marked junk near a town shopkeeper, and stack and tidy both bags.

It never fights and cannot be hurt. It does add carrying space and automatic jobs; it is not just an outfit. Sales use the shop's normal prices and budget. Mark carefully: breaking down a non-gear item destroys it without materials. Its bag survives a defeat. You can do the sorting, selling and salvage yourself without the helper. Read Meet Your Raccoon Helper before setting its jobs.

Hero's potions

PurchaseWhat each drink does
[[item:hero_health_potionHero's Health Potion]]Restores 500 health
[[item:hero_mana_potionHero's Mana Potion]]Restores 420 mana

The linked item pages show their potion pictures. Each bottle stays in your satchel after drinking. Each has its own 20-second cooldown. They cannot be traded, sold or dropped.

These potions affect play: they restore health or mana without using up a bottle. They are not cosmetic. They are blocked in friendly duels and in APOCALYPSE, where everyone already has endless potions. Ordinary worlds, including Survival, allow them. You can still craft or buy ordinary potions with orange coins. Read Hero's Health and Mana Potions for the controls and limits.

Start with what you already have

Try the free decor set, earned outfits and ordinary town shops. If you are comparing an extra, check the mode you play and its limits here first. There is no need to buy anything to follow the guides.

Where next

Choose an outfit in Skins, plan a garden with Decor and building packs, or sort your next journey's supplies with Storage: satchel, chests, the locker and the vault. For a family, start with Family safety features together.
