Beds and respawn points
More guidesSet a home, sleep through the night together, and know where Tatazo gets back up.
Wake up where your story belongs
After a hard trip, there is a lovely feeling in seeing Tatazo wake beside the bed you made yourself. A bed turns a shelter into a home you can return to.
Place a Leaf Bed, then use it. It becomes your respawn point. Each Tatazo has one chosen bed at a time, so choosing another one moves home to the new bed.
Sleeping and getting up
At night, use your own bed to sleep. When everyone in the world is asleep, the world moves on to morning at 26% of the game day. Anyone can choose Get up instead if they are not ready to sleep through the night.
In a Survival world, a bed must be inside a proper shelter before it can be used. A bed in somebody else's claim also needs that owner's permission. A bed claimed by another Tatazo is theirs to use.
| What changes | Where you return |
|---|---|
| Your chosen bed is still there | Beside that bed. |
| You have not set a bed | The village. |
| Your chosen bed is removed | The village, until you choose another bed. |
When Tatazo is knocked out, choose to get up at your bed when it is available. The other world rules for being knocked out are in Knocked out and getting up.
Make a simple sheltered room near the work you are doing, then use the bed before you leave. If you are playing with friends, say when you are ready to sleep so everyone can welcome morning together.
