Relay Post

Overview

Carries a signal on: it listens to the float switch, tide clock, timer or relay post behind it (within 12 m; its arrow points the way the signal goes) and works the sluice gates, drains and springs within 3 m of itself the same way. E turns it over: then it works them the opposite way. Chain posts to work a far gate, or turn one over to shut a flood gate when the water rises.
