Thorn Burr
Level 1+Burrs used to hitch rides on passing otters; now the Gloom rolls them at passing gators. Read the tale
Where it lives
Riverlands, in Jungle, Wetland, Meadow, Highland. Seen from level 1. Its level depends on where you meet it: at home, how far from the village you are; on the other lands, that land's band, lowest near the harbour side. It is stronger at night. Stronger ones are called Murky Thorn Burr (level 15+), Deep Thorn Burr (level 40+), Elder Thorn Burr (level 80+).
How to calm it
Weak to (takes more): Fire +40%
Tough against (takes less): Earth −15%
Its attack: the rolling ram. It is steady (wind-up 0.7 s, then 2.4 s before the next).
Thorn Burrs are weak to fire but shrug off earth. Watch for their rolling ram: sidestep as they start to spin, then hit them while they're dizzy.
Cleansed, it bursts into clean water and leaves.
