Shambler
Level 1+Field notes
A zombie the Gloom got up out of bed. Slow, groaning and a bit forgetful; its grip slows you down. Cleansed, it yawns and goes back to sleep.
Where it lives
Zombie Land, in Graveyard, Bog. Seen from level 1. Its level depends on where you meet it: at home, how far from the village you are; on the other lands, that land's band, lowest near the harbour side. It is stronger at night. Comes in groups of 2 to 4. Stronger ones are called Murky Shambler (level 15+), Deep Shambler (level 40+), Elder Shambler (level 80+).
How to calm it
Weak to (takes more): Holy +60%Fire +30%
Tough against (takes less): Decay −70%
Its attack: the bite. It is steady (wind-up 0.85 s, then 1.8 s before the next).
Shamblers are weak to holy and fire but shrug off decay. Watch for their bite: back away as they crouch, then strike while they recover. Their hits slow you down, so keep your distance.
Its hits slow you down (15% for 3 s). Cleansed, it bursts into clean water and leaves.
