Rime Wyrm
Mini-bossWhere its tail passes, frost ferns bloom on the ice for a whole day. Read the tale
Field notes
An old serpent of the ice fields. Its sweeping tail leaves frost trails; fire makes it shrink back.
Where it lives
Frostlands, in Tundra, Glacier. Seen from level 12. Its level depends on where you meet it: at home, how far from the village you are; on the other lands, that land's band, lowest near the harbour side. It is stronger at night.

Its attack: the claw sweep. It is slow to wind up (wind-up 1 s, then 2.2 s before the next).
Rime Wyrms are weak to fire and energy but shrug off ice. They're slow to wind up their claw sweep: stay behind them, and back away when the steam starts to hiss. Their hits slow you down, so keep your distance.
Its hits slow you down (40% for 3 s).
