Old Hollow Oak
Mini-bossA thousand years in one spot, and then the Gloom came and it simply walked away. Read the tale
Field notes
Some oaks live for a thousand years. This one pulled its roots up when the Gloom came, and now it wanders.
Where it lives
Autumn Woods, in Autumn. Seen from level 12. Its level depends on where you meet it: at home, how far from the village you are; on the other lands, that land's band, lowest near the harbour side. It is stronger at night. Stronger ones are called Murky Old Hollow Oak (level 15+), Deep Old Hollow Oak (level 40+), Elder Old Hollow Oak (level 80+).
How to calm it
Weak to (takes more): Fire +55%
Tough against (takes less): Earth −50%
Its attack: the ground pound. It is slow to wind up (wind-up 1.2 s, then 2.5 s before the next).
Old Hollow Oaks are weak to fire but shrug off earth. They're slow to wind up their ground pound: step back out of the ring when they raise their arms.
