Gloom Bat
Level 2+It only comes out at night, and it cannot resist anything shiny.
Where it lives
Riverlands, in Jungle, Wetland, Meadow, Mesa, Beach, Highland. Seen from level 2. Its level depends on where you meet it: at home, how far from the village you are; on the other lands, that land's band, lowest near the harbour side. It is stronger at night. Only comes out at night. Stronger ones are called Murky Gloom Bat (level 15+), Deep Gloom Bat (level 40+), Elder Gloom Bat (level 80+).
How to calm it
Weak to (takes more): Holy +40%Energy +20%
Tough against (takes less): Earth −30%
Its attack: the swoop. It is quick (wind-up 0.5 s, then 2.2 s before the next).
Gloom Bats are weak to holy and energy but shrug off earth. They're quick with their swoop: keep moving as they rise, and they'll dive at empty ground. They only come out at night.
Cleansed, it bursts into clean water and leaves.
What it leaves behind
Plus orange coins for everyone who helped, now and then a potion, and sometimes gear. Everyone in your party within 40 m gets their own roll.
