Parasaurolophus
Level 5+Its hollow crest trumpets across the island like a big brass horn. Read the tale
Field notes
A duck-billed plant-eater with a long hollow crest. Air ran through the crest, so it could probably make deep trumpeting calls. Late Cretaceous North America.
Where it lives
Primeval Isle, in Primeval. Seen from level 5. Its level depends on where you meet it: at home, how far from the village you are; on the other lands, that land's band, lowest near the harbour side. It is stronger at night. Comes in groups of 1 to 3.
How to calm it
Weak to (takes more): Holy +20%
Its attack: the rolling ram. It is steady (wind-up 0.8 s, then 3 s before the next).
Parasaurolophuses are weak to holy. Watch for their rolling ram: sidestep as they start to spin, then hit them while they're dizzy. Cleansed, they turn back into friendly animals.
It runs away for a while below 40% health. Cleansed, it turns back into a friendly animal and wanders home.
