Field notes
The thick-headed lizard: the dome on its skull was solid bone up to about 25 cm thick. Late Cretaceous North America, 68-66 million years ago.
Where it lives
Primeval Isle, in Primeval. Seen from level 5. Its level depends on where you meet it: at home, how far from the village you are; on the other lands, that land's band, lowest near the harbour side. It is stronger at night.
How to calm it
Weak to (takes more): Energy +20%Holy +10%
Its attack: the rolling ram. It is steady (wind-up 0.75 s, then 2.6 s before the next).
Pachycephalosauruses are weak to energy and holy. Watch for their rolling ram: sidestep as they start to spin, then hit them while they're dizzy. Cleansed, they turn back into friendly animals.
It runs away for a while below 20% health. Cleansed, it turns back into a friendly animal and wanders home.
