Obsidian Golem
Level 14+Every edge of it is sharp, and every edge of it is shiny.
Field notes
Volcanic glass forms when lava cools too fast for crystals to grow. This golem is made of it, sharp at every edge.
Where it lives
Ember Wastes, in Ashland, Caldera. Seen from level 14. Its level depends on where you meet it: at home, how far from the village you are; on the other lands, that land's band, lowest near the harbour side. It is stronger at night. Stronger ones are called Murky Obsidian Golem (level 15+), Deep Obsidian Golem (level 40+), Elder Obsidian Golem (level 80+).
How to calm it
Weak to (takes more): Energy +35%Ice +30%
Tough against (takes less): Fire −80%Earth −30%
Its attack: the ground pound. It is slow to wind up (wind-up 1.15 s, then 2.9 s before the next).
Obsidian Golems are weak to energy and ice but shrug off fire. They're slow to wind up their ground pound: step back out of the ring when they raise their arms.
