Mycelium Golem
Level 12+The threads under the hollow knotted themselves into a giant, just to see what walking was like.
Field notes
The threads under a forest floor can spread for kilometres. Here they knotted themselves into a walking giant.
Where it lives
Glowcap Hollow, in Mycelia. Seen from level 12. Its level depends on where you meet it: at home, how far from the village you are; on the other lands, that land's band, lowest near the harbour side. It is stronger at night. Stronger ones are called Murky Mycelium Golem (level 15+), Deep Mycelium Golem (level 40+), Elder Mycelium Golem (level 80+).
How to calm it
Weak to (takes more): Fire +40%
Tough against (takes less): Earth −60%
Its attack: the ground pound. It is slow to wind up (wind-up 1.1 s, then 2.8 s before the next).
Mycelium Golems are weak to fire but shrug off earth. They're slow to wind up their ground pound: step back out of the ring when they raise their arms. Their hits slow you down, so keep your distance.
Its hits slow you down (30% for 3 s).
