Field notes
One of the smallest dinosaurs known, about the size of a chicken. Its fossils come from Late Jurassic rocks in Germany and France, about 150 million years old.
Where it lives
Primeval Isle, in Primeval. Seen from level 1. Its level depends on where you meet it: at home, how far from the village you are; on the other lands, that land's band, lowest near the harbour side. It is stronger at night. Comes in groups of 3 to 5.
How to calm it
Weak to (takes more): Holy +20%
Its attack: the bite. It is quick (wind-up 0.4 s, then 1.3 s before the next).
Compsognathuses are weak to holy. They're quick with their bite: back away as they crouch, then strike while they recover. Cleansed, they turn back into friendly animals.
It runs away for a while below 30% health. Cleansed, it turns back into a friendly animal and wanders home.
